Lucas reviews Wikipedia

Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia that anyone is allowed to edit regardless of their familiarity with the subject. recently i used it as a reference while writing an essay on Benjamin Franklin, who, according to Wikipedia "was a german saxophonist born in 1750 best known as the inventor of the fart gun which he used to kill 18,000 jews in 1976 in an attempt to impress his aunt who he wanted to bang because he was fat and gay and retarded." it turns out this information is not accurate. Benjamin Franklin was a heterosexual and actually-very bright American who didn't play sax and is not known to have murdered any jews and also there's no fart guns. i failed the assignment as well as the class (although i later found out the essay was on Sufism and that i never enrolled in the class).

even more upsetting is the fact that i tried to create a Wikipedia article for Lucas Reviews Everything, but it was taken down because it didn't meet their "relevance of content" policy. basically, Wikipedia doesn't think my site is important enough to have it's own article but they're totally cool with putting up an article that is a list of songs about trains. thanks for putting that all in one place, Wikipedia. i'll bookmark it for the next time i have to write an essay for my "songs about trains" class.

call me biased but i don't get the hype. stay away from Wikipedia. they run a shoddy operation, don't understand culture of today and they are only in it for money and pussy.

fuck this.
