i love a good horror movie (and i hate a bad one), and what's scarier than ghosts and dads? Bonemother and i rented "Ghost Dad" tonight expecting a spooky thrill ride starring Bill Cosby and i can say with no exaggeration that i have never been less frightened by a horror film. i actually found myself laughing throughout most of it ("Ghost Dad" is actually the funniest movie i have ever seen). i gave Bill Cosby a fair shot but he fails to deliver the goods - he completely lacks the frightening on-screen presence of a Robert Englund or a Frankenstein. Bill Cosby, stick to the comedies. i am absolutely not afraid of you. if you want a truly scary film experience skip over "Ghost Dad" and treat yourself to one of the classics like "Halloween 5" or "Mansquito" or "Frankenstein" (literally the scariest movie i have ever seen) instead.
